Joot 1.0 (beta) · Deutsche Fassung
Something stuck? Write to service@jootapp.com. From the beta it is quicker through TestFlight: press and hold the app ▸ Send Feedback — a screenshot comes along automatically.
If your images live in iCloud rather than on the device, Joot has to download each one. The bar shows how far along it is, and you can stop at any point. On a poor connection it is worth waiting for Wi-Fi.
Joot creates a quick preview during import so you do not have to wait, then sharpens it in the background. A note in the app shows how many are still pending. The app needs to be open for that.
Then the original has gone from your photo library — deleted, or Joot no longer has access to it. Check under Settings ▸ Apps ▸ Joot ▸ Photos whether access is still granted.
Both devices need to be signed in with the same Apple ID and have iCloud enabled for Joot (Settings ▸ Apple ID ▸ iCloud ▸ See All ▸ Joot). The first sync takes a few minutes depending on how much there is.
From a fixed catalogue, counted through in order starting from the day you installed the app. Each day has exactly one task, and you see it on the day it comes up.
Yesterday, yes — in the Challenges tab under Photo of the Day. Further back, no: it would stop being a journal and become a list.
On your device and, if you have iCloud enabled, in your private iCloud database. More in the privacy policy.
